Mommy and Me | Movie Night | The 99th ed.
Movie night. Our church. Sunday night. During dinner time (5:30).
Normally, I say no. Then, Mr. Serious offered to fly solo. And, I thought about it. But, inspired by my friend a-mommy, I said yes, and I went (yeah, I went in a velour maternity “track” suit, but I went). Because saying yes is important, and creating memories.
But, I did insist on an early dinner before we went. I just couldn’t say yes to a popcorn and ice cream only dinner (bad memories of doing that when I was a kid and puking everywhere…no thanks!)
The girls started with their ice cream while waiting for a fresh batch of popcorn, but once the popcorn came, they were all over that.
I tried to get a picture of both of us, but she kept looking away. This is completely blind shooting. No forward facing camera, no easy button to push, just going for it (and it was a pretty dark room with a super bright flash). *Can you tell I have some serious good cell phone and good cell phone camera envy? I do. I’m green with envy.
But, she was there, I was there, her big sister was there and daddy was there, and that’s all that counts.
We’re on the 100th edition next week! Woohoo! That’s pretty huge. I have a little something I’m going to giveaway on my own. Because you guys participate and you deserve it. But, I can’t think of any good ideas for a great 100th edition picture. If you have any ideas, let me know in the comments. Also, what do you use for your linkys? My paid account is about to expire and I don’t know if I’m going to keep paying for it!

I have GOT to remember to participate next week. I’ll do my best to get a shot of me and at least ONE kid this week – ha!

I love this picture, both of your expressions are great! For not having a smart phone I think the pictures it takes is pretty good though! Maybe you can talk Mr. Serious into getting you one as a “push” present so you can take really good pics of the new baby (& the girls) to send him during the days! Ha!
