Out of the Box Sampler Review and Giveaway

Out of the Box Sampler is a really unique and fun business idea.  The idea is that business send them samples of their products to be included in the “Box.”  Many different home businesses include their samples to make a fun and different set.

Each month we put together boxes filled to the brim with 15-17 different businesses’ samples for you to enjoy. The boxes overflow with items like melts, scrubs, bath, body, tarts, candles, gourmet foods, jewelry, coupons, discounts, cards and much more, from some of the best e-tailers on the web.

It is win-win for both the businesses and the customer.  The businesses get their names out to many customers with great ease, and customer gets a wide variety of samples to test out.  It makes it easy to find a new favorite handmade candle or lip gloss, for example.  Many of the items also have a coupon attached to them for your first purchase.

I received the March sampler.  In addition to all of the yummy homemade goodies shown here, the box also contained: a homemade chapstick, a lip balm, several candles and varieties of soaps, a pony-tail holder, a magnet, some gift tags and notecards and even a pair of earrings.

When I opened the box, the combination of the soaps and candles were wonderful.  I hope this was intentional, because I can imagine if it had the wrong smells combined, it could be bad news.

I was very impressed with how well the container was packaged and neatly put together.  It felt like I was getting a gift that could have something for everybody.  My only complaint is that the popcorn treats were starting to get stale.  This is definitely a new, fun way to try new products or get your products into many customers hands.
