Move Night In with Rogue One Blu-Ray and DVD

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

Sunday we got all the things done early. Okay, except laundry, but is that ever really done? We were sent an early release of Rogue One. Neither of us had seen it, so we got comfy on the couch and had a nice movie in.

From Lucasfilm comes the first of the Star Wars standalone films, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, an all-new epic adventure. As the first of the Star Wars standalone films, it has established its place within the Star Wars universe and the hearts of moviegoers, becoming the seventh highest-grossing film of all time in the U.S. Fans can own the epic action-adventure thriller on Digital HD and Disney Movies Anywhere on March 24, and on Blu-ray™ Combo Pack, DVD and On-Demand on April 4.

Admittedly, I have trouble following the original Star Wars movies. This one, I had a much easier time following. And, it had me paying attention which is huge for me. I like that it helps share a story between the trilogies and puts some missing pieces together.

Mr. Serious also enjoyed it and we think most Star Wars loving fans will, too. (Let’s be honest, you’ve already seen it. You are just in it for having your own copy and seeing the bonus features!)

My favorite is the “Rogue Connections” because I’m always impressed with the things they hide in there and have the thought to include.

Bonus features include*:

  • A Rogue Idea – Hear how ILM’s John Knoll came up with the movie’s concept – and why it’s the right film to launch the Star Wars stand-alone films.
