Sisters

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

Never in my wildest dreams, did I imagine that these two girls could love each other so much. It was instant, immediate, and forever all at the same time.

Look that their faces. I’m pretty sure it says it all. I hope they always feel this way about each other.
#1 has to kiss #2 good night every night. She asks for #2 first thing every morning. She wants to help out with her, she wants to hold her. Last night, #1 shared her bed while Daddy read and sang songs. And, she wanted #2 to lay down with her all night.

And, #2 just smiles at #1. I’m pretty sure she thinks #1 is the best thing ever. Better than mommy and better than daddy!

I hope that they always remember how they feel for each other right now. Because, having a sister myself, I know that you don’t always feel this way about each other. You don’t always want to share. You don’t always want to hug and kiss. You don’t always want to read together.

But, in the end, you always love each other and you are there for them!!

And, now get excited. I’ve got a blogoversary coming up. My very first post was on February 3 of 2005. Yep, I’m cool like that. I’ve been blogging hard for FOUR years (well, I did have a brief hiatus when nobody was really blogging and blogger was really un-user-friendly)!

  13. Sisters are the best…most of the time! I really appreciate them more now than when we were younger. They were always bugging me and wanting me to play Barbies with them, even though I was too old and too cool for that.

    Happy Early Blogoversary!

  14. Isn’t that just so precious! That picture really says it all.

My boys were like that immediately too. Sure they argue and get on each other’s nerves from time to time but they sure do all love each other. Just awesome. 🙂

  15. I know…isn’t it just the most precious thing ever? Tate is exactly the same with his ‘lil sister. He kisses her ALL the time, hugs her ALL the time, gives her toys, helps with everything…oh, and he’s VERY protective too! If someone else takes a toy away from her he’s right there grabbing it back and giving it back to Emily! haha. It really is just the sweetest thing to see how much siblings can love each other though!

  16. I truly feel the same way! I am so lucky to have a sister myself. I wanted to be her when I was younger, we didn’t always get along growing up, and became closer than ever when she went to college.

Now I am blessed to call my sister one of my best friends!! When I moved into my own apartment in June, I will have lived with her for the last year and a half. Couldn’t have imagined a better experience.

They will have it too!! Thanks for reminding me once again how lucky I am to have a sister!!

  17. Oh, they are SO incredibly sweet together! Isabelle is the best big sister ever!
