Meet Tenney Grant | American Girl Doll

I remember growing up and playing with my dolls. My favorite one was Rachel. She went everywhere I was allowed to take her: backyard sliding, camping, long car trips, she went everywhere. I even kept her after her hair fell off! So having dolls for my girls is important. I like them using their imaginations and playing with toys that don’t require plugs or batteries.

So when Tenney was introduced to the American Girl lineup, I knew that they would love her. And I was right. The first thing they said was how much they love her freckles! I can’t imagine why. They also said they are patiently waiting for a redheaded, freckle-faced doll to arrive.

Thanks to American Girl, we now have the newest contemporary character to join the American Girl lineup, Tenney Grant. Tenney is a breakout singer-songwriter from Nashville who is pursuing her dream of becoming a performer. Tenney has launched with an 18-inch doll with long blonde curls that can be styled, light brown eyes and a moveable head and limbs. And, of course, there are books that tell her stories, too.

The girls are having a great time playing with Tenney and having her interact with their other dolls. I have no idea what they were doing, but they were giggling. Later, in typical sister fashion, they had their clothes and outfits traded out and Tenney and Gabby were wearing each other’s clothes.

Tenney is also joined by her bandmate, Logan Everett, American Girls’ first-ever boy character. There are a ton of music-inspired outfits and accessories for Tenney and Logan, too.
