Wii…in style | WW
Our Wii was out of commission for over a year. A certain little red-headed girl put a DVD in it and it no longer worked. We put it away. When cleaning, I found it, we got it out, and voila, it works. (I’m having de ja vu…did I mention this before?)
And, that same certain little red-head along with her sister have discovered Wii Sport Resort. Jousting with your sister (which is more like just madly swinging) and trying to knock her off the stand? It’s awesome.
But, the best game? Is the frisbee game. No button pushing required. (I should mention, they are better at the game than me).
Even better, she loves to call it “rice frisbee” like cereal. Cracks me up every time.
And, of course, it’s always better to play in princess attire.

See…really helps you concentrate.

I’m linking up here. Go and visit their Wordful and Wordless Wednesdays.

i love family wii nights…such fun! and they are so rockin it in their princess outfits!
Apparently, it’s the best way to play.
I forgot about that game, I need to break it out. We have the Just Dance Kids game too that we play.
I didn’t know there was a Just Dance Kids…we’ll have to look into that one.
No way! We recently brought our Wii back out too (thanks to winning Just Dance Kids via JaMonkey) and are having a total blast. Princess dresses rock. Love it.
Okay, that’s two votes for Just Dance Kids….we’ll have to put that on a birthday wish list.
isn’t everything better in Princess attire???? 😉
It would appear so..I don’t have any in my size to confirm it:)
Lol Oh that really is adorable!! (and strange that the Wii just started working again!)
Apparently, when something like that happens, you have to give it some down time. Probably not a year, but a little bit:)
That’s what my video game playing is missing, princess dresses! Well, and skill. My kids are a lot better at recent video games than me. Give me Sonic or Mario Bros. or Pac-Man, though, and I’m good.
Oh, mine, too. Both the dress and the skills…I’m not good at any of them and get super frustrated.
But, the dance ones are pretty fun.
isn’t everything better in Princess attire???
Happy WW!

This is what I keep hearing!
Of course they need princess dresses! They’re princesses of the Wii. 🙂
They definitely think they are!
LOL they do look very intent! Happy WW!
They actually put them on just to play.
They’re so cute! My kids love playing Wii and Xbox. I look forward to when Isabella is into dressing up. 🙂
She totally would be if she had a big sister…I’d put money on it…so your newest little girl will be a dressed up princess in no time.
Rice frisbee, I love it. I can’t wait to play with them next month. I will have to forego the princess outfit. I don’t think you have one big enough for me.
Yeah, no adult sized ones here.
Too cute! My husband and I are really big Wii fans and Mr. A is constantly trying to play too. Can’t wait until we can have family Wii nights like this!
He’ll be playing in no time….likely not well.
Oh, and make sure he wears the wrist strap!
Ahhhh! Maybe that’s what I’m doing wrong with the rice frisbee game – I need to don princess attire! 🙂 So adorable!!
I would totally wear one if it helped me play (and, of course it would have to fit!)
We’ve been majorly into Wii bowling tournaments over here lately. So nice that you got yours working again. Love the princess dresses! 🙂
The bowling, it turns out, takes a little more coordination (with the button pressing and releasing)…glad we tried it again before tossing it.
Oh my!!! So sweet!
They definitely think so:)
well…take two…trying my comment again with a different email. WordPress is still being picky with me. Anyhoo – We have been into Wii bowling tournaments over here lately. So nice that you got yours working again. Love the princess dresses! 🙂
Your first one came through…for some reason it went to moderation first..I just had to approve it:)
Oh my! So sweet!
Every Wednesday your pics make me wish I had a little girl!!!
You could always come borrow them..although, I’m not sure that people would be convinced they were yours:)
My youngest wore dress up clothes for an entire year – yes – a year!
We go through phases…probably not an entire year, but a couple weekends in a row for sure.
I’ve never thought my kids could play any of the wii games, I might just need to give resorts a try. we might just do this tonight, just dressed up as pirates!
I hope you did it. The Frisbee doesn’t require any button pushing. The jousting also works well, they just have to swing their arms like crazy!
We love playing Wii over here. total gaming family. Matter of fact, I am just taking a break from stomping The Dudes in Just Dance to read a few blog posts:)
We have just dance 2 and we’ve had a blast with it….might need to get #3.
Both your girls look so serious. You’re certainly raising some gamer girls 🙂 Love the princess dresses!
Oh yes, they take their Frisbee very seriously! They just have to make sure they look good doing it.
your girls are little princesses…such pretty things. cracks me up the wii was in the closet this whole time.
Oh, they definitely think they are.
We were so mad it was broken we just put it away…and then randomly decided to try it one more time before tossing it. Thank goodness we did.
Too cute! We love the dance games at my house!
I don’t know how they’d do with the dance games just yet…but mommy and daddy like them.
This is going to come in very handy with a new baby coming soon! I adore the dress-up attire holding a wiimote. Funny girls!
Here’s hoping! We’ll just have to make sure she isn’t in the trajectory! They tend to throw a little crazy.
And, yes, you have to wear a dress while holding a wii-mote. It’s a requirement.
doesn’t a princess dress make everything easier? 🙂 my mom made my sister an ariel costume one year for halloween and i was soo jealous, it was amazing with a tail and everything!
Apparently it does. I don’t have one in my size to confirm in, though.
How nice that they made a costume..I’m not that talented at all.
Your girls look so cute! Love their dresses!
They are too silly, aren’t they?
Ha ha. I love it. As a girl gamer I say do it in style (or in sweats if you are feeling lazy like me). Those kiddos are way cute.
Dresses/sweats/jammies..you know, whatever works!
We think they are pretty cute, too!
So cute! Love the outfits!
Thank you:) They picked them out all by themselves.
I just got a Wii or our family as well, though it is being monopolized by dh and son! One of these days I will play the deepak chopra game.
Yes, you should get on it…I like the dance games:)
