Max the Bear Visits the Serious Home

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

Friday, we took Max home.  Max has his own backpack (which he rides in), his own blanket (which looks a lot like a fancy pillow case), and his own journal.

Taking Max home is a reward for good behavior, so we couldn’t be more proud of the fact that she took him home for the very first weekend.

Immediately, she wanted to cuddle Max and brush Max’s hair.  And, of course, they had a sleep-over both nights.

On Sunday, after church and naptime (and princess dress up time), we had some "Max homework" to record in his journal.  THREE SENTENCES had to be written.  That was interesting.

So, we sat (and mostly daddy helped) by sounded out one word at a time until all three sentences were composed.  Max was close by to supervise.

Homework with Max

"I cuddled Max."

"I brushed his hair."

"I forgot to bring Max to church."

And she wrote every single one of them without any help with the letters!  And, we couldn’t be more proud!
