It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

It’s definitely become a tradition to go to the North Georgia State Fair every year. First with one daughter (and the second ready to come out any day). Then with two girls. Then, a first ride for mommy and #1 on the ferris wheel while #2 waited behind with daddy. Then, last year with #3 on the way at the petting zoo, and both the bigs flying up in the air.

This year, we went all out. And, by all out I mean actually planning and purchasing the tickets and coupons beforehand (and getting a discount), so the girls got to ride their little hearts out. We even let them pick what they had for lunch, too (#1 CFA sandwich, #2 hot dog and fries, #3 milk). We even had every intention of gorging on fair food, and it didn’t even happen. My treat was a shaved ice. I ended up sharing with all three girls (yes, even E had some). Mr. Serious got ice cream. And for the ride home, the girls got cotton candy. No funnel cakes or turkey legs or ears of corn. But we are still calling it a win.

I got a cheesy, squinty (and this is a seriously overcast day, but I took my shades off) picture with me and the girls.

And, one slightly-less-squinty yet still cheesy cut-out fair picture. (E was asleep or I would have held her up to one of the faces, too).

Daddy was there, too! He got to ride with the girls on the carousel. So glad he likes the spinning.

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies.  If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link.  It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

    1. A farm park sounds way more tame and chill than the fair. The fair is a bit overwhelming.

    1. Guess I never posted. She fell off her bike two weeks ago and was limping four days later. Not broken but since she wouldn’t take it easy the ortho recommended a boot. Checking again Friday and hopefully it’s off.

Adorable! I wanted to go to the fair so badly, but with Nate’s work schedule these days it is impossible. It sounded like so much fun, and I swear we went last year.

  11. Great pictures! I love this time of year going to all the fall festivals.
