Last week, when I saw a sign at the high school for a performance of Godspell, I asked if the girls would go with me.
It started with a lot of questions “what is it?” “what is it about?” “is it a musical?”
Once we got past all of the questions, they agreed to see it with me.
We did a little divide and conquer on a Friday night as Mr. Serious wasn’t interested in the show. He and the littles stayed home and watched a movie while the oldest two and I went to the high school theater.
Turns out we were quite the early birds and only a couple other people were in the theater. And, like N suggested, the show didn’t start on time.
So, naturally, it was time to take our masks down and grab a picture.
Shortly after, Godspell started. It was a great production and I’m glad we were able to make it work!
