Baby E’s room reveal | WW

I know it’s probably crazy to believe, but this is the first time we’ve really decorated and planned a baby room. Three kids, and only one intentional nursery room. (I just don’t like that word…don’t know why).

Part of it is we were renting a house with #1 and didn’t want to paint and decorate too much. And, with both #1 and #2, we didn’t find out they were girls until they were born, so nothing was gender specific.

This time was different.  We found out we were having a girl (and had it confirmed multiple times) and decided she was going to have a room that was for a girl.

But, not too girly. No pinks. Subtly girl. Early on, I knew I wanted the room to be a very soft and gentle gray. It’s actually called calm. Here’s hoping it has that effect.

Then, I picked out the crib bedding, and the crib and things started coming together.

Now? Her room is ready for her to get here.

Along with a place for mommy or daddy to rest for a minute with her if necessary (or anybody else, really)…that dotted minky is so, so comfy.

Well, there’s a little hint, isn’t there? Her name starts with an ‘E’ but that’s all you get. And, that’s all anybody else has gotten either. This E (should have taken a before picture) was from Aunt Emily’s house, but was really dark. My friend and I (mostly the friend) painted it up to match the room and got it up with the pictures.

So, Baby E, we are ready and waiting. We hope you come sooner rather than later. We can’t wait to meet you!

The room looks great. The E from Emily looks totally different. I like your calm color choices. Maybe this will help E with any belly issues she might have like Iz and Nat did. Can’t wait to see you all at the end of the month.

    1. I sure help “calm” has that effect on her…and me!

  4. How exciting!! We’re STILL trying to sell our house so baby doesn’t have a room! 🙁 She’ll bunk with us until she sleeps through the night then I guess we’ll put her in Isabella’s room…OR maybe-just maybe, we might actually sell our house and buy a bigger one SOON!

    1. We put the girls together in a room..our house isn’t huge, either, but the two rooms upstairs are pretty large.

Good luck with selling your house!

    1. Yeah…it’s getting to be less “special” and more “uncomfortable!”

It’s actually a bright orange to match the pop on the bedding…but it’s fun, right?

Tell that baby I’m tired of wait and that her room is adorable and she needs to come out and see it!

    1. I is, isn’t it? Didn’t even realize/think about those two sweet girls when we agreed on the name.

I’m tired, too! I’ll tell her immediately!

This is a great room for your new baby girl – what a beautiful crib. Such an exciting time for you and your family!

    1. Thank you! It was hard to find the crib, but a friend recommended it, it got great reviews and it wasn’t too pricey!

  17. How are you liking having a Pinterest button? What plugin do you use for the social media icons at the end with an RSS reader link? Random questions, I know. I don’t know many WordPress users that are as nice as you and answer my questions, haha. I can’t believe I started following your blog like three years ago, before I even started making videos, took a big break, and then found you again! Thanks for still being here with your cute children and lovely blog =)

    Kindness is the best accessory,

    1. I think I emailed you..let me know if I only did it in my head!
