Re-heating and cooking pizza
In addition to cooking meals and food from start to finish, the air fryer is perfect for reheating things like pizza.
Not only does it work well for a traditional pizza crust, but it was also amazing for this cauliflower pizza crust. It gave it just the right amount of crunch and warmth without leaving it soggy like the microwave.
The uses for an air fryer seem to be almost endless. I like to think of it almost like a mini convection oven that won’t heat up the entire house and doesn’t have to be preheated.
Bacon-wrapped chicken recipe
The bacon-wrapped chicken wasn’t a planned meal for the week. We had another chicken meal I didn’t feel like cooking and leftover bacon (I know!) from another recipe.
The air fryer was sitting on the counter and I decided to give it a try. I had heard of many people cooking their bacon in an air-fryer, so I figured this wouldn’t be too different.
To make these bacon-wrapped chicken breasts, you will need the following:
- chicken breasts quartered or chicken tenders
- center cut bacon (or other bacon of your choice)
- salt
- pepper
After quartering the chicken breasts, I seasoned them on both sides with salt and pepper. Go crazy here…you could add some garlic powder too if that’s your thing. Then I simply wrapped each chicken piece with a piece of bacon.
Being the salt and pepper lover that I am, I added some more salt and pepper after wrapping the bacon, too.
Then, I placed the bacon wrapped chicken into the newair Magic Chef® Digital XL Air Fryer and set it to 360F.
After about 10 minutes I checked the bacon-wrapped chicken and decided to flip it over. I then pushed the air fryer temperature up to 400F and cooked the chicken approximately 10 more minutes to get the bacon good and crispy.
The result was amazingly crispy and super moist chicken that the entire family devoured. I served this with some steamed broccoli, brown rice and a salad and dinner was super quick.

I’m super impressed with how easy this is to clean. I was able to pour the bacon grease into a separate container and then a quick wash in the sink got of any remaining residue.
The true test
A true test for our family and functionality is if Mr. Serious and the girls will use it.
While I was gone, they decided to make some gluten free southwest style breaded chicken tenders that were devoured by family and guests. The fact that they used the air fryer without having to call me and cleaned it tells me it’s a win for pretty much any household!

Air Fryer Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Breast Recipe (Gluten-Free and Dairy-Free)
A quick and easy meal featuring moist chicken and crispy bacon.
Ingredients
- 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breast (Quartered) (approximately 8 pieces)
- 8 pieces center cut bacon
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.
- Wrap on piece of bacon around each quartered piece of chicken.
- Season the bacon-wrapped chicken with more salt and pepper.
- Place the bacon-wrapped chicken in the air fryer at 360F for approximately 10 minutes.
- Open the air-fryer, flip the chicken over and adjust the temperature to 400F and finish cooking for approximately 10 additional minutes, or until chicken is cooked and bacon is to desired crispiness.
