THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

Bedtime is a little crazy in the house. The older two girls are pretty good at getting themselves to bed with some coaching. The younger two, however, are totally dependent on other people to get them ready and into bed.

Most nights, we take the divide and conquer approach, but sometimes, both littles want mommy’s lap for bedtime. When the stars align and they are ready at the same time and can wait a little bit, we do a story and a song together before bed. Most of the time E doesn’t have her paci until she’s actually in her bed, she scooped it out of her bed. And, B got one too.

In that moment, I realized that there won’t be much more time for me to have two babies in pacis on my lap, so I didn’t ask for them back. I pulled them in tight, snapped a picture, read a book and got them both to bed.

I love my sweet little paci girls!

It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information. **There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.*

  1. Such sweet kids. Happy bedtime!

  2. So cute! Logan is in a phase and only wants Daddy at bedtime. I think she let me put her to sleep one time last week. I’m ready for the phase to pass…I love putting her to bed.

Cute picture – I love their pacis – I love the fact Evelyn can talk with hers in just like you used to do. I think you finally gave yours up right around Evelyn’s current age.

  4. Bedtime is STILL madness in our house. My hubby and I always wonder when it will get easier. I mean, we’ve been doing this for 12 years, the same exact way, and the kids still act like they have never HEARD of bedtime before. Maddening.

I love the paci’s. My Ben used to go to bed with 5 in his crib. One in his mouth, one in each hand, and two in the corners of the crib just in case he lost some in the middle of the night. 😉

    Adorable pic!
