20th annual "pumpkin patch" picture | Mommy and Me Monday | 818th ed • Really, Are You Serious?

When the college kiddo comes home for a long weekend, you take advantage of all the things. So, it’s a double birthday, pumpkin patch, family picture kind of week!

The oldest had a meet late Friday night out of state and woke up early Saturday morning to surprise N at her meet. Then they drove to E and B’s last meet of the season. It was nice to have us all together for a meet!

And, of course continuing with the busy we’ve got two birthdays this week. With the oldest two turning 19 and 17, thankfully, they combined their birthday dinners for one nice dinner.

After dinner, we grabbed some pictures of the girls (and then my timehop showed me pictures at the same place from years passed and whew, that made me a little emotional).

We also stopped for a nice family picture with a pretty wall mural.

And, not wanting to add another event to our weekend, we decided to call this set up (there are pumpkins and corn stalks and hay, so it’s it!) is good enough for our annual pumpkin patch picture. We’ve made bigger stretches before.

It’s been nice having our loud, yelling from the other room, full family home again…and I don’t think we’ll have it again until Thanksgiving!
