Our annual pumpkin patch trip | 2014
Every year since our oldest was just two weeks old, we’ve ventured to a pumpkin patch. The first couple years, it was at our previous church. But, every year we get some sort of fall/pumpkin picture!
In most of those, I had a new baby, or was pregnant well, not feeling or caring to look and be stylish!
This year we were going to look good! We actually planned our outfits and styled them with our new boots that were sent to us by Rack Room Shoes sent us. To me, nothing says fall style like brown boots, and amazingly none of us had any!
But, we fixed that! The girls wanted taller boots and I had my eyes on some for a while, so it was an easy choice. I think we all rocked them too! We walked around Stone Mountain park in them for several hours and there were no complaints from little or big people with hurting feet.

I keep seeing ankle booties as the newest fall trend. They are super cute, but I haven’t been able to put them in my cart just yet! I think these tall boots will continue to be in style for a while!
My pumpkins in the “patch” (side note, we actually called the oldest our “pumpkin head” for the longest time. Maybe because she was orange for a while, or maybe because she was born in October. No idea, but it stuck!) I love that I can see their little boots at the bottom, too!
I totally thought they had a full area with lots of pumpkins when I planned our trip. But, they didn’t! So, we made due with this giant pumpkin for our “patch” picture! 5 out of 6 looking is pretty good!
I’m certain the girls wearing their boots brought out a little extra sass as seen here (as well as on their birthday and out to eat.) The girls try to wear their boots every single day (N has even worn her bike riding).
It’s safe to say this is our most fashionable and trendy pumpkin patch picture, but you can check out the others to confirm!

E’s swan top is adorable! The boots are looking good and just in time for all these fall temperatures!
I like a tall brown boot for fall, too. It looks chic and casual at the same time. I’m over due for a new pair of boots myself, I need to drop by Rack Room Shoes.
Oh. Get two pairs because their shoes are always buy one, get one half off!!!
Great pictures – Love all the new boots, even Mr. Serious WOW
Super cute… I was actually going to comment on the boots when I saw your photo (maybe on facebook or instagram) before the post…
LOVE THEM 😉
STYLIN’ Family you have 😉
Cute family shots. I like the pumpkin patch tradition. I’ve noticed that we do something similar without even knowing it.
Love the coordinating boots! I agree – nothing says fall like brown riding boots 🙂 I’m in the market for a new pair myself, so this post has perfect timing 🙂
oh man, you look great! good job girl!!! and the boots, totally adorable 🙂 Virtual mommy blogger high-five!
So cute! Especially the Hello Kitty boots, my daughter would go crazy over those!
You have the cutest kids! And I agree that there’s something delightfully autumnal and cozy about a tall brown boot. Come to think of it, I’m long overdue for a new pair…
Love boots for fall and winter. It’s part of my cold weather uniform, lol. It’s a quick way to look pulled together. That and a scarf. Works every time!
I just LOVE these boots! My daughter needs a pair! I’m glad you said you could walk around all day in them. There’s nothing worse than buying your kids cute shoes and they won’t wear them because they hurt.
Looks like you all had a fun time at the pumpkin patch. Loved the picture with the boots. So cute!
Ooooo!!!! Those are fabulous fall pics! And I LOVE the boots. Very stylish. Love them! The family picture with the huge pumpkin is awesome. You need to frame that.
We always have a fall family pic taken at the pumpkin farm every year too. 🙂
