Date Night | Mommy and Me Monday | 132nd ed.

It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

It would probably be bad for me to admit, but we haven’t had a date night since before E was born. Terrible right? She just turned 6 months old and I don’t remember one night out. Or even afternoon.

So, we finally had the chance, and even though E went with us, it was still pretty nice…we just had a baby on our laps. We’re thinking this might be a trend, too.

The bigs are signed up for AWANAs at church and go from 5:30-7:30pm on Sunday nights. The best part? We don’t have to stay there. We get to drop them off and have two hours to do what we want. (Yes, we love our kids, but not being near family, it’s hard to swing a sitter, and harder still because somebody is flat our refusing to take a bottle!)

We took the girls, saw them to their rooms, dropped them off and headed right across the street to a Mexican restaurant. A grande beer for Mr. Serious, a margarita for me and some chips and salsa and all is right with the world.

Just the three of us

Next week, there is no AWANAs….anybody want to watch our girls for two hours? This is a pretty sweet gig!

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies.  If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link.  It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love.  Please spread the love!  And, I never mind the comments, either:)
