Giggly Gumdrops Wall Vinyl Review and Giveaway

Vinyl wall hangings are a very easy and effective way to jazz up a space in your home or office.  I have a large one hanging in my living room, and people always compliment it and ask how I painted it up there.  Vinyl, I tell them, it’s super easy.

Giggly Gumdrops, a vinyl wall hanging store, recently approached me and asked me to check out their vinyl and give it a try in our house.  There were so many different ones to choose from and so many different looks that it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to try out.  Ultimately, I let Mr. Serious help out and he decided on a monkey.

He arrived two days after he was put in the mail.  And, he was in great shape.  However, I had a problem peeling off the back paper (as it stuck a little bit) and I ripped him.  Of course, I immediately contacted Giggly Gumdrops and apologized for tearing my sweet little monkey.  She in turn, apologized and immediately offered to send another one or a different one.  I figured it might be me, so I suggested a monogram.  Thankfully, she was also thinking and sent me an extra monkey because I realized I really don’t want to share my monogram with you all.  But, it’s one there on the left, and it looks great.

But, I will show you the adorable monkey I put in the girls bathroom.  I ended up removing the border and putting him up as if he was hanging from the towel rack.  I think he looks super cute hanging there and the girls got a big hit out of it.  It was very easy to put up and super quick, too.  (If you notice the line across the monkey’s chest, that’s a bad sheet rock repair by the previous owners…Mr. Monkey is in perfect shape.)
