Just a preview of life with 4 littles
We got a little glimpse of life in our house with 4 little kids. Four days. Four kids 6 and under. Safe to say, come Decemeber/January our house is going to be very loud. And full of lots of “helpers”.
Because these girls sure did love to hold baby Logan. They always wanted to know what was happening next with her so they could hold her.Â
A trend. And, E? Well, I threw her in the picture. But, any chance she got, she went up to Logan and said “hey baby” in the sweetest little voice. When E woke up from her naps and sleeping, it was also the first thing she said.Â
At the same time, she had to be closer to the person holding Logan then Logan was. Which means she was often trying to get between the holder and Logan. Or snuggle up really close. Since Aunt Emily was often the one holding Logan, E was right there snuggled with her.
And, a glimpse of 4 car seats in our van (taken in our garage, not moving, so N and #1 are not sitting right at all!) And, you can see me in the mirror, too. It’s fun getting around with 4 little people in the van and 2 adults. And, well, three adults? Mr. Serious was lucky to sit in the middle in the way back!
It was a lot of fun having them here visiting. And, also getting a preview of what life is going to be like in the very near future!
You will have lots of helpers which is great. I am in need of a van with only 2 the stuff that they bring in my car is ridiculous lol
Oh yes…we got the van after 2 kiddos!
how nice to get a lil test run at it!!! such cuties!
And a little scary, too!
HAHA It’s coming fast!
Such adorable pictures! I can’t get over how big your girls are getting!
I know..I know. I can’t believe it either.
4 littles! What fun and wow what a lot of laundry! It looks like you are going to have some helpers tho!
Yeah, we do a lot of laundry around here:)
Your sister looks just like you. You are both so pretty and so are all of your girls. I’m sure that they will all be great helpers for you when the baby comes. My youngest who was David claims to this day that he had 4 moms telling him what to do instead of 1. He said all 3 sisters bossed him around. The girls have a different point of view. They say that David was spoiled because he always had 3 sisters helping him with everything. As a mom I saw it as 3 adoring sisters taking good care of their baby brother. I know your girls will do the same.
Hugs, Grammy Lura
Yes, we definitely get that a lot! Yes, lots of good helpers…and bosses:)
Oh my four in car seats….that’s a lot of buckling in and out. LOL
I should clarify. The oldest two are in boosters, so they can buckle themselves (actually, the middle could do her own 5 pt harness when she was still in it..I just had to check her). But, we still do a lot of buckling and confirming of buckling!
wahahaa that’s a good trial run!! Should have a go at it again and again perhaps every consecutive two days.
Um…I’d have to borrow another baby. My sister is 4 states away:)
Oh my goodness, you have a house full of love 🙂 You have some great little helpers there 🙂
Oh how cute!
Yes, life will be crazy and loud but it will be awesome. You’ll do great! 🙂
These are such wonderful pictures! Soon you will have lots of helpers!
Four are going to keep you very busy!
How precious! I think mine is going to be totally in baby’s face when he arrives as well. She wants to play Mommy! Your girls are the sweetest. One more will make your house even sweeter!
Oh, she totally will..but she can be a good helper for you, too!
You have some adorable kids!
Ah I’m jus trying to picture life with THREE littles, I can’t imagine 4.
Oh my goodness – you are going to have your hands full. But, at least they will be full of blessings, right? Loud, wet, dirty, hungry, tired… adorable blessings.
Exactly…totally my answer to people when we are out and about.
My husband and I have four children, but they are very spaced out, they are 3, 4 and 5 years apart. Two of our children were adopted so I never had many very young children at once. Let me tell you that teenagers are loud, too!
Don’t I know it. I taught high school for 6 years! I know loud!
Ha ha ha!! These pictures are so adorable. They look like a happy clan. All the girls are gorgeous!! Life is going to be very lively for you. You are a pro at though. Little E is going to be a great big sister.
how fun… and hectic… but going to be so awesome 🙂
so happy for yall
