Mommy Sandwich | Mommy and Me Monday | 449th ed

Thursday was my “get stuff done day.” I had needed a take a day to do it for a while, but kept putting it off. So, I finally took the morning, went to the coffee shop and was pretty productive. Of course, not as much as I wanted to be, but I at least checked a couple things off my list.

B has a late pickup on Thursdays which meant I actually had 45 more minutes to myself, so I grabbed some food and ate it at home before getting her. Then about 20 minutes after getting her, E gets home on the bus. Since it was just the two of them and they were playing nicely, I thought I’d get my computer out and work a little more.

B was having none of me working and quickly came and actively sat next to me and leaned with all of her might. How do they even do that?

The next thing I knew, E was actively leaning even more on my other side making it virtually impossible to type or read anything on my screen.

I had become a mommy sandwich. So, I put down my computer and grabbed a picture with both of the girls (where B decided to channel Cousin It).

With how hard they were leaning on me, I couldn’t have tried to lean to one side or the other if I wanted to.

I guess they really like me! But they’d like me a lot more if I cooked them their favorite meals and foods 24/7!
