The Turkey Lunches | Mommy and Me Monday | 458th ed
One kiddo has aged out of the Thanksgiving lunches at school, the second missed hers because she is still sick (hopefully, we are finally on the right course to getting her better). E and B had their Thanksgiving lunches on the same day….so it was all about the turkey.
I started at E’s elementary school where she shared her thankful turkey and some orange slices from her lunch. This is the first year all of the grades didn’t have a program to perform either. Thankfully, I was glad because the week had been so crazy.
I ran home, checked on N, had lunch and then went to see B’s Thanksgiving songs. She told me all about the turkey she tried and shared how everybody loved their turkey juice boxes. Then it was time to watch her run around in her sports class…and even throw a football.
I’m hoping, praying and crossing my fingers and toes that the rest of this week is full of healthy kiddos, fun gathering with friends and family and a lot less drama! I hope you enjoy some quality time with family and friends, and if turkey is your jam, you get a little overstuffed with some holiday food and treats.
