My Milestone Moments as a Mom
With four kiddos (ackā¦four, right?), we are always celebrating some sort of milestone or another. Sometimes itās something like a first smile. Other times, itās reading a whole book. We have the full range of milestones and each one is a victory and worth celebrating. Sometimes, itās even a mom milestone (ask me tomorrow as I venture out with all four girls for a doctorās appointment for B!)
On a whim, I decided to add some milk to Eās cereal. What do you know? She knew to scoop it up with a spoon and didnāt make too much of a mess. I probably should have done this months ago, but well, did I mention mom of four? But, of course, we had a little celebration!
Or when your little holds your littlest (with mommy assisting) and only loves on her (with some seriously strong hugs and kissesā¦weāre working on it)? Huge milestone. I really donāt think there was any jealousy.
Of course, for me, itās having all of the things done around here (laundry and dishes), but remembering that these little ones donāt keep. They grow up and change every day. I have to remind myself constantly that those arenāt the things that really matter. Just likeĀ Noelle Pikus Pace, U.S. Olympic Skeleton Athlete says āmoms are in training every minute of every day!ā Iām constantly growing and learning as a mom, too. So I have to celebrate my milestones, even whenĀ āRaising a family is like training for the Olympic Winter Games.ā
Even if we celebrate when our toys all have working Duracell batteries or that we have enough toilet paper in the house, we celebrate those milestones with P&G! Because, when it comes to raising kids, every finish line is a new start. You to learn more about Noelleās story and milestones she celebrates with her family.

My most recent milestone moment was realizing my son knows how to scrap his plate into the trash… oh and the fact that he actually calls me mama now lol.
My most recent milestone moment occurred just this morning, when I realized my freshly-two-year-old son could -indeed- reach things off the kitchen counter. That’s a feat not taken lightly in this (short) household. *sigh*
Oh, you are lucky. We’ve been at counter reaching height for a while now. E even puts stuff up there (milk cups for example!). She’s trouble:)
My most recent milestone moment was realizing my 22 month old can put on socks and shoes by herself. 90% of the time she gets them on the right feet too!
Alright, I’m taking note. My third is 23 months..I need to get her putting on her socks and shoes!
Giggles!!! Such a cool milestone we just reached. So we kiss her as much as we can to hear those adorable giggles.
My daughter is starting to talk and it’s been fun hearing the words she comes up with!

My older son’s recent milestone: Becoming a big brother!
Climbing on and over everything is the latest milestone!
My most recent milestone as a Mom would be the marriage of my youngest daughter. Before that, I became a grandma from my oldest.
My most recent mom milestone was becoming a mom of 2! It’s really been a humbling experience. Everything I thought I knew has gone out the window! But I love it!
My most recent milestone moment is when my child is two years began to put his shoes without help!
My most recent milestone was my nephew rolling over for the first time!
My son just started to walk.
