Peek a boo B | Mommy and Me Monday | 469th ed
With the Super Bowl in the ATL, Mr. Serious added some extra work from home days. It turned out pretty nice because he took kids to school and then he and I had lunch out Friday. We aren’t fancy or anything, just some Chick-fil-a. But, that meant B wasn’t impressed when we both went to pick her up.
We thought she’d be happy to have mommy and daddy to herself for a bit. Instead, she gets in the car and sees my Chick-fil-a cup (with water in it), and says, “Hey, no fair you got Chick-fil-a.”
Being the master distractor that I am, I pulled out my phone, put my arm to the side and asked her to smile. She was happy to oblige and all was forgotten about our visit.
I figure Mr. Serious should get a little face time, too. After all, he’s been rocking the garage gym workouts with me for FASTer Way to Fat Loss. (He’s not doing the plan, just enjoying not having to plan workouts.) I’m certain my bicep will never look like his, but it’s good to have goals, right?
Like the goal this week is to snap a picture with at least one of our other girls and not in the car? A mom can dream, right?
