Carpool waiting | Mommy and Me Monday | 479th ed
This little monkey only has 4.5 weeks of pre-K at her preschool left. That means I have only 4.5 weeks of carpooling her to preschool and hanging in the car with her together.
Some mornings, we have around 15 minutes to chat, take pictures, sing along to CDs and more. It’s so crazy to think how long this carpool line has been my life for the past 7-ish years.
A new chapter will be starting for the whole family soon. With all of the kiddos in school, we’ll have kids at only two schools again which will be nice. This will only happen for two years and then it won’t again! That’s kind of crazy to think of.
So for now, I’ll embrace these last couple weeks of carpooling with this kiddo. We’ll jam to Laurie Berkner band, we’ll listen to the Selfish Crocodile on loop, and we’ll play guess which hand the mint is in because it’s fun and silly and we are making memories…even if it’s also a way to kill some time.
Because I’m pretty sure, before I know it, she’ll be on day long field trips, playing some sort of musical instrument and getting ready to move out of the house!
