It has definitely been one of the seemingly fastest weeks on record. We returned home from our cruise, attempted to have some downtime and then the kids performed at church and had a messy lunch after.

I really like it when the church does family activities and attempts to document them for us! B and I got our own picture printed out together which she was quite proud of. It’s now taped to her wall in her room. Are we the only ones that let our kiddos tape stuff to the walls?

And the choir director got a nice family picture fo us, too! Is that SIX smiles and 12 eyes all looking the same direction?

Messy Family

The rest of the week was pick ups, drop offs, After School Program (the first time any of the girls have gone), Mr. Serious working from home so I could head to an in-town conference.

Before I knew it, it was the weekend, which we rounded off with the end of the conference I attended. Then, the kids had parent night out. Sunday we went to church and then the girls had a sitter while Mr. Serious and I went to our first Atlanta United game.

Sunday evening, I wanted to grab pictures with all of these kiddos and just stop and savor them.

I feel like the week flew by and after next week, we’ll have a teenager and an 11 year old and I’m not ready!

It seems like I am always the one taking pictures and never the one in them. Sometimes I wonder if people will look back and wonder if I was even there. That is why I have started to at least get one or two with me in the photo.
