Awards and State Race with a Visitor | Mommy and Me Monday | 822nd
Election day meant a bonus day home during the week with these two cuties. We had to go to Costco, so of course it’s planned around lunch time. Don’t worry, veggies were consumed later.
We had some time to chill after our millions of errands and then it was time to get ready for awards night!
The girls were both honored for various achievements on the team. It was fun to spend an evening honoring them as well as their teammates and my coachmates.
Step and repeats are fun except they show the school name over and over again..so please enjoy our fun AI background picture and use your imagination. Mr. Serious was out of town and N was at work, so it was just the three of us flying solo.
Saturday was the final race for N at state. The oldest was able to come home to see her previous teammates as well as her sister and cheer them on. She also ran into a couple of her college teammates at the race as well! XC kiddos are the best cheerleaders! They run all over the place with everybody else.
After the race, we had a family assemble picture and it sure did make my heart happy.
I asked for one in the car and got one there, too! Get all the family pictures while I can.
Sunday the oldest invited me on a coffee walk. How could I say no to that? Plus, it’s doctor’s orders to walk!
And she even let me get a picture!
