Trip to Houston | Mommy and Me Monday | 831st ed
When the oldest and I went to Italy this summer, we had a flight change that left us with some unused credits that needed to be used by February. She had some extra time before heading to school and I had a couple days I could make work, so we headed off to Houston to visit my sister and family.

The oldest must document everything in ten fold! So many pictures! She grabbed one while we waited on the plane in Atlanta for the fog to lift in Houston.
We both hadn’t seen my nieces (her cousins) in over a year, so we were due for a trip! (The rest of the family went for a visit while we were in Italy).
And thankfully, there’s a gym we can use because she’s back to running already after her break so, I joined for some weights. I reminded her strength is important so she begrudgingly did them and let me join.

And we grabbed one dinner out while we were there. Lots of happy smiles for chili’s chips and queso! Here’s to everybody getting what they want to eat and enjoying it! (And leftovers, too! Those are always great.)

It was a great (and stupid hot and humid) visit to the flat lands of Houston, but always too quick and short.
I also helped make sourdough bread and will try my hand at it here once we go through the four loaves I traveled with (and the HEB tortillas!)
