E’s 8th Grade Dance | Mommy and Me Monday | 857th ed
E is almost finished with middle school and ready to head off to high school. Big changes ahead! Including finally getting her braces off! She’s a whole new kid!
This week she had the 8th grade walk to the high school and 8th grade awards where she got an award for her Spanish class selected by her teacher, an award for the reading group she’s in and an award for all A’s for her entire middle school grades (including 3 high school classes this year!) We don’t get to brag on her often enough!
After the walk and awards she was able to come home early to get ready for her 8th grade dance. N helped with makeup (and took her dress shopping) and I helped with her hair.
We had to get some pictures before she headed off and had fun with her friends.
I swear she was crawling around our kitchen and taking all of the pots and pans out of the cabinets just last week! And now she’s about to head to high school! Who gave her permission?
She’s taller than me…but no this much. Those little heeled sandals are giving her a big boost!
She said she danced and had fun for the full two hours!!
