Mommy and Me Monday-The 40th Edition-Rudolph in November
It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.
#1 and I snuck away today for a mommy-daughter date. We went to the Center for Puppetry Arts in Atlanta, and saw their version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
The puppets were so impressive; #1 thought it was a "show" and not a "puppet show." I’ve never been to such a cool puppet show before.
However, no pictures are allowed there. Like at all. We only slightly broke the rules for this one. Whoops. (Yeah, she said she made that face on purpose.)
After, we were able to make our own Rudolph puppets. That was quite the hit. Anything that involves glue is a hit, right? We brought one home for her sister, too.
Rudolph complete. He was a fun companion on the ride home, too.
In our goodie bag, were some antlers and a red nose. #2 thought it was a hoot and a half.
Well, I did, too. She kept putting the foamy nose on me, too, after she got it all boogery. Yuck!
It was nice to get out and do a little something fun with my big girl. Current moto: "One day at a time."
Thank you to the Center for Puppetry Arts for providing the tickets to the show.
**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**
Make sure you head over and check out all of the other Mommy and Me Monday posts and leave them some comment love. It makes me sad to go to posts at the end of the day and only see one comment. Please spread the love! And, I never mind the comments, either:)
that looks like SO much fun for both of you!! I bet she loves that new reindeer puppet. 🙂 I’ll have a post up tomorrow!
