When you give a three year old a camera (phone) | Mommy and Me Monday | The 113th edition

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

I’ve got a new toy to play with*, so I was playing. Checking out the front camera option and rocking my new glasses (yes, still blind as a bat). I had to capture me and my easiest non-moving target.

Pretty good, I’d say.

Then, somebody “woke up” from their non-nap and wanted to see what I was doing. As is par for the course, she didn’t want to be in the picture, so she’s a bit of a blur (left), but wanted to take some pictures. So, she sort of got her little sister, and well, chopped off mommy’s head (right).

She moved up a bit and got my smile, but still had a hard time standing still (left). And, then viola, we turned on the flash, and she got me, but missed getting her sister.

Yep, she still couldn’t stand still…and then one more last effort. Success.

We (I) decided that we’d try to get one of daddy so mommy could help out with the focusing (ie not moving part). This is like an eye exam, better first or second? I think the second is a little better!

The lesson? When your three year old wants to play photographer, make sure you are helping her steady the camera phone, and turn on the flash, or you’ll be a blur!

Just so you can tell, it does take good pictures, too, even with the flash off and on!

maybe she'll smile

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies.  If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link.  It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love.  Please spread the love!  And, I never mind the comments, either:)

I have been provided a phone for the purposes of review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Cute pictures. You look very different in the new “rockin” glasses. I can’t believe how much E is looking like Izzy and Nat as the same age.
