I needed a good stretch….and a little sense of calming. Everybody in the house did. (At this point, who doesn’t?!?!?)

I pulled up the Peloton app and picked a quick restorative yoga class. I didn’t realize it needed a yoga strap, but we figured we could wing it with hands, or my one yoga strap.

As it turned out, winging it was a better option. The strap was supposed to go from one foot, around your head and back to the same foot. My band was about 2 feet too short, so I tried to stretch it to work.

It, in fact, did not work! (Makes note to purchase a more appropriately sized yoga strap!) You can see my holding the other end of the strap in my hand!

With all of this running and exercise in our house, we all need to remember to take some more time to warm up, cool down and stretch ourselves better. We need some more love of our bodies!

Later in the week, before the big kids came home from school, E and B and I played the Tom and Jerry City Race Board Game. It was fun, easy and quick to understand and only resulted in one kid getting upset (moving backwards is the worst!)

This Groundhog Day of a year just keeps going on and on and on and on….I’m crossing fingers and toes and all the things and hopeful that we can have some sort of more “normal-ish” summer and fall!
