It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

Because it was the right thing to do, and we have a Fall Break, we ventured up to Ellijay this weekend to go and pick some apples.

However, once the girls spotted the petting zoo at the back of the farm, the apples totally lost their appeal.  The pigmy goats, miniature ponies, pigs, chickens and bunnies were way more interesting.

I do think the apple farm would have been a lot more seasonal if it wasn’t 92 degrees while we were there.  However, we still made our pumpkin-chocolate muffins, and we’re patiently awaiting the arrival of Fall in our neck of the woods.

  18. Okay I’m jealous! We are 90 degrees and don’t have any apple farms. The closest we get is the parking lot at the Methodist Church which they fill with pumpkins in October. You just have to get there quick before they rot in the sun. Not quite the same!
