Mommy and Me Monday- The 39th Edition | A Throwback

It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids.  Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.

I’m certain most of you have heard the expression from your pastor or preacher "God doesn’t give you more than you can handle."

Well, right now, I think He must think Mr. Serious and I are superheroes.  Because, after last week, I thought we were sort of at our "max".

And, then, this Friday, a wonderful, wonderful friend, took me from the urgent care clinic to the ER because I had tachycardia (144 beats per minute, if you want to know), and found out I also was dehydrated, have the flu (despite getting the flu shot a month ago) and an infection.

And, it doesn’t even stop there.

Mr. Serious and I got home around 9pm Friday night and I started itching, and had bumps on my face, which turned into bumps on my hands, my legs, my stomach, well, you get it; hives all over.  My hands were the size of the Incredible Hulks’.  So, I learned I’m allergic to yet another class of antibiotics.

Saturday and most of Sunday were spent in bed, and I’m just now feeling okay to sit up to the laptop and type.

I’m not typically a "woe is me" type of person…but I’m certain I’m at that point now.

So, I’m hoping the girls don’t look back at this time and get upset that mommy dropped out of the pictures for a while, but let me be honest.  A smile is hard to come by these days….and the three of us lounging in my bed?  Well, the camera was just too far away.

So, you are getting an oldie.

A loving glance of momma at her sweet babe when we went to pick apples in September.

Hopefully, by next week, I’ll be ready to get the camera out, and even get in front of it.

Mommy and Me Monday

Mommy and Me Monday at Really, Are You Serious?

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies.  If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link.  It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

Make sure you head over and check out all of the other Mommy and Me Monday posts and leave them some comment love.  It makes me sad to go to posts at the end of the day and only see one comment.  Please spread the love!  And, I never mind the comments, either:)
