On the hunt. Round one.

Our neighborhood had a hunt last weekend. 

A hunt for eggs.

I think our girls were just a little excited for it.

They really lucked out, too. 

There was only one other kid there.

This time, the candy wasn’t in the eggs.

They got their candy after the hunt in cute little purple bags.

You never would have thought they liked those bags, would you?

#2 could only walk a couple steps before sitting down.

Clearly, her location didn’t matter.  The middle of the street was perfectly fine for inspecting her goodies.

I guess we need to work on street rules next.

  1. How fun, I am sad Alex will be missing an Easter Egg hunt this year but we are going to make our own at grandmas! They sure do look excited.

  2. My mom had a little egg hunt for my kids last weekend too…even after it was over Charlie still ran around looking for eggs.
    And nope, they don't look excited at all. 🙂 I love Izzy's hair blowing in the wind in that first picture.

  12. We have not hunted yet this year but are having our annual eye dying party tonight!

    as for life lessons yesterday at Ritas a teenager with his younger brother handed cooper a package of candy. coop was so excited and i was like ummm guess I should teach him not to take candy from strangers!!
