On Ice | PSF
We stayed out really, really late, paid a ton to park our car, bought two bags of $12 cotton candy and a couple $4.50 drinks and I’d say it was totally worth it to see how much they enjoyed it.

#1 was so excited to tell her sister what to expect and how the show was going to go.

#2 was just in awe and full of questions: why do they wear skates? why are they on ice? why is it dark back there? where did ariel go?

And Mr. Serious? He just laughed every time Maximus (the horse) came out on the ice. (#1 put her hands up because she said the flash was too bright!)

We had a great time at Disney On Ice’s Rockin’ Ever After. We enjoyed the stories of Ariel, Repunzel, Belle and Merida (although we haven’t seen Brave, but they cut the scary parts, we heard). Of course, my favorites were from The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast because they were the movies of my youth. Yeah, I could probably sing every song (my sister and I even tried to reenact The Little Mermaid in a bathtub after seeing it in the theater).
Remember those #2-isms? My favorite of the night was “That’s silly mommy, fishies don’t have legs!”

The Ursula costume was spot on and really brought me right back to the movie.

{Thanks to my friend at StressFreeBaby for the Ariel pictures.}
And the grand finale is always special as all of the princesses and their counterparts come out for one final number.

The Disney shows don’t disappoint. The kids love it, and so do the adults…just remember to bring money. The snacks and treats are (as expected) pricey.
(If you are in Atlanta, and want to see the show, they’ll be here October 10-14).

so fun and so magical!!
i too could belt out some disney tunes…but i am pretty sure my girls would rather i not!
Oh, Aladin…I know pretty much all of those, too!
Too bad you didn’t get a picture of Maximus. Was he two skaters in one costume?
You can see him in the last picture (front left)…but, silly, he wasn’t skaters, it was a horse on skates of course!
{Okay, really, 2 skaters..and he’s HUGE!}
I cannot wait until Red is old enough for this stuff… I contemplated making Hubs take ME 🙂
We saw several adult only couples there…you should have done it!
What fun….. You do such nice things together. What great memories. Hugs
We try. We hope that the girls appreciate it!
I have quite a few friends that mentioned something about this – it sounds like it would be really fun – minus the $12 cotton candy! lol
It really is a great time…but yes, it’s totally way over-priced when it comes to the merchandise..it’s crazy. But, I knew going into it I’d let them get something ridiculous.
oh, this gets me so excited! we went last year and are going again in december when it comes to raleigh! sydney has the postcard advertisement from the mail taped to her bedroom door. 🙂
Awww..that’s so cute. And, I bet she’s super pumped..or is she going to be surprised? (that’s the only way we can do it around here)!
Looks like a great time!!!
It really was!
