Potty Training | Are we coming to an end? #giveaway

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

I’m hoping and praying that we are close to the end of our potty training journey with #2.  Yes, we did the 3 day thing, and for the most part that worked.  But, night time, well, that was another story, so we decided to go with Pull-Ups!  Thankfully, she has started to wake up dry at night, so I really hope we are close to the end.

Pull-Ups recently introduced their fun, new Cars2 PullUps Designs…but we got the Princesses, which are always a hit!

Pull-Ups

They’ve also come up with the  PullUps Potty Timers. The timer is a fun way to remind your child to take a potty break without a reminder from Mom or Dad.  Now, the timer was a fun idea (it looks like a watch and can make noise, light up, or buzz), but it sort of took the control away from #2, so that part wasn’t really a hit.  However, I know many parents who have great success with setting a timer, so I bet this would work really well for a lot of other kids.

Pull-Ups

Pull-Ups wants to give one lucky Really, Are You Serious? reader a potty prize pack, which includes:

· Pull-Ups Potty Training Timer

· Pull-Ups training pants with Disney designs

· $25 VISA gift card to purchase potty training rewards

Full disclosure.  I received the same gift pack to facilitate my review. No other compensation was received. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

I hope we are at the coming to an end stage too! after 2 boys… this girl is wearing me out!

  8. I could really use some help right now! My 2 1/2 year old doesn’t seem to care if she soils her cotton panties or not, but will tell me she has to go potty. Pull-ups help at night though she says she’s a big girl when she wakes up dry! No more diapers, but how do we get past the wet panties in the daytime???

    I want to WIN 🙂

  10. Could really use the potty prize pack. My daughter is 2 1/2 and just wants to continue to pee in her pants and then tell you right afterward!

  11. I’m really becoming discouraged with my potty training attempts. :\ i have a 2 year old daughter who has been fully interested in potty training since she was only 18 months old. And we were doing extremely well but it was almost like she just got bored with the potty. Lol she hasnt pooped in her diaper or pull up since she was 18 months but peeing… A whole ‘nother story lol
she does well if we’re at home alone or at a friends house. But if my mother’s around, or my nephews she gets to playing and will pee in her pull up. I’ve tried literally every different pull up out there lol she actually wanted to pee in them with the cool alert ones lol!
i’m seriously thinking of trying the watch though. I think she’d like that.

The timer is adorable… believe that would help with my 2 year old that I am now trying to potty train. 🙂 Thanks for the chance to win!

  15. Lorna Wagner says:

I love all the suggestions and other parents experiences as we are training my 2 year 10 month old, he is extremely resistant, won’t even try the toilet, sits on the potty fully trained, it is a challenge, hopefully the pull ups inspire him to do a little potty time.

  16. Great Giveaway.. My 28 month old is doing well, but not ready to do it by himself. We got the pull ups with the cold alert, doesn’t phase him a bit. Maybe he would think this timer is great and GO!!

  17. This would be perfect for my son. Although he is doing okay in the pee department, he needs many reminders(he does not want to stop playing) when it comes to pooping. I think the potty watch would really encourage him and help him feel like a big boy!

  18. I would love this for my daughter! She does really well with the oven timer; she’d be over the moon to have her very own potty-reminder!

  37. Are you serious? I have twins, they are three and a half. My son Cash, is not even considering potty training! If he wants a treat, he’ll ask to go but other than that. He told me he was going to wear Pull-Ups (preferably the Lightning McQueen ones!) He said underwear were for his brother! Oh geesh!

  38. I’d love to win!

  40. Nancy Bowen says:

I would like to enter the giveaway, please. Also looking for any tips on training our 3+ year old granddaughter. Been trying for months, some days good, some days terrible! Especially with #2–VERY not interested in doing it on the potty, but will sit right there in front of you and go in her pull-ups! Getting frustrated! Can’t figure out what’s happening. Rewards haven’t worked. Of course, there are “family problems” that probably haven’t helped, but this has been going on for some time. She seems to be very secure and happy with us, but……
