Summer with the Kids | Bomb Pop Giveaway
I think summer hit the Atlanta area within one week. In May, we saw the 70s during the day. Now, it’s hot, hot hot! And, we are sweating a ton!
What better way to cool off then with a tasty frozen popsicle. On what better day then today, June 27th, National Bomb Pop Day…I think there is a day for everything now! But, who am I to argue!
These were devoured very quickly (and shared with mom, dad and E, of course).
We’ve also been cooling off at the pool. Thankfully, it’s just a quick walk up to the front of the neighborhood! That walk usually involves some sweating, but the reward is that cool, cool water.
Of course, we also make sure to drink a lot of water because dehydration is a real thing and we don’t want any of that. I’ve been there before and it’s not fun at all!
Bomb Pop and Publix want to help you celebrate this summer in honor of National Bomb Pop Day (June 27) with a patriotic prize pack (in iconic red, white and blue!) and Publix gift card!
Patriotic Prize Pack that will include:
- 2 Bomb Pop packages (free product coupons)
- American Summer Lanterns
- Red Striped Popcorn Boxes
- Red Paper Straws
- $25 Publix Gift Card
I am working with Bomb Pop and Publix to share summer entertaining ideas using the information and products they provided me. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.
Frozen grapes and blueberries are a great way to cool off.

Hands down, frilly drinks, waterside is my favorite way to cool down! Add an umbrella ( on top or in the drink) and I’m set!
We love to go to our favorite lake and go swimming!
I stay in my air conditioned bedroom and read! HAHA! Honestly, it doesn’t get too terribly hot where I live. Of course, I will complain about the temp when it reaches 85, but after living through one summer in Phoenix, 85 doesn’t seem all that hot when I really think about it or compare it to the 118 degrees it was the day I moved to Phoenix. Nice run on sentence, eh?
I cool off with my grandson outdoors. He has a smaller bounce house with water slide and between that and me using the sprinklers with him, we stay cool. Many times, he cools me off with the hose…unexpectedly
I love to go the pool with my grandsons…….they are a lot of fun.
