The bump? Growing bigger and bigger by the minute. And so is E. But she still likes to be in a baby carrier and be worn! So, I sent a link off to my mom for a carrier on my wish list (Tula Toddler) for Christmas. Which was ordered and arrived two days later! Yes, she said I could open it…and so, I did:) I didn’t realize it that day, but looking at her eyes, I can now see that the sickies were coming back, so of course it was a good day to test it out. I pulled it out, and she said “up up” and “on” then once she was in, I asked if she liked it and she said “yesh!” So, it’s a winner.

And then Saturday, she didn’t wake up until 9am! I actually went and checked on her because I was worried something was wrong and she had some how managed to get into one little corner of her crib where I couldn’t see her on the monitor. We she finally woke up, as soon as I picked her up, I knew she had a fever (I guessed 101F and I was spot on). So, Saturday was a day of cuddles, drinking water and naps on mommy. I honestly think she was only awake for like 5 hours the entire day.

I was worried we were going to have to cancel our family plans to head to dinner and a show, and just Mr. Serious and the older two were going to go. But, Sunday’s nap was pretty good and she woke up pretty much herself with no fever, so we headed off! I tried to get a nice picture of me and my girls. Almost successful…

But, I did get a pretty good one of daddy and his girls right before we started to eat our dragons blood and all of the other fun names they have for food. Seriously, somebody needs to tell #1 that she doesn’t need to open her mouth like that!

We’ve survived yet another case of the ickies and still managed to have a fun weekend, too.

What were you up to this week?

*Just in case, I won the tickets from a giveaway to Medieval Times. And, my mom paid for the Tula Toddler carrier.

**There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.**

I try to make sure and visit all of you and leave some comment love.  Please spread the love!  And, I never mind the comments, either:)

Aww, I love this post. My daughter outgrew our Ergo a few months ago, and I am thinking about getting a toddler tula to wear her in. She’s 27 months old now but still likes to be carried, usually when i’m trying to get things done of course 🙂

    1. Yes, do it! It really is amazing…and it seems they hold their resale value, too, so when you are done, of course, you can sell it:)

      1. Cassandra Eastman says:

That’s great that they have good resale value! When we have another baby I may have to get a standard as well 🙂 I think you talked me into it! Thanks!!!
