The PeaPod aka Our Baby Tent
During our trip to Texas, we knew our Pack n Play wouldn’t work anymore for a couple reasons. Number one, she could climb out of it and number two, it is heavy and large.
Enter the KidCo PeaPod. I had secretly been coveting one for quite some time. After all they only weigh 5 pounds, and they fold up to the size of a large Frisbee.
Our toddler thought it was the coolest thing ever. She yelled for "mah bed, mah bed" and climbed right into it (after the first night). And we appreciated that we could zip it up and keep her in and know that she couldn’t get out and hurt herself. And, it’s small enough that we fit it under the desk in the hotel. The air mattress had to be more comfortable that the alternative, too. We just threw a small air pump into the van to speed up the process.
Oh, and putting it up and down is a breeze. It’s all one piece, you untwist it and it pops up, and you twist it at an angle and it pops down. You don’t have to put any poles into it or anything like that.

See that little blue bag on the bottom left? That’s the PeaPod. It practically took up no room at all!
The only thing I wish I could have figured out is how to put a sheet or something in the bottom. Since the air mattress goes into a pocket under the tent, the surface is a little cold and slick. Other than that, it really was the best thing we’ve had for our toddler to sleep in. I would say that a tall two year old is about the limit for fitting in it comfortably.
My opinions are my honest, and thoughtful views and were not influenced by any source. I was not compensated monetarily for this giveaway. I received a gift card to use towards this purchase to facilitate the review.
Where was this when I traveled? That’s awesome!
Hey have 2 Pea Pods for our twins and LOVE THEM! They fold down small enough to save on room, but are roomy enough for them to sit up and move around.
What a cool idea. I might have to look into that once Mia gets a little older and we start traveling a little more with her!
Oh MY! What an awesome invention!
I just saw this the other day and thought it was such a cool idea. Much less space to take up than a pack n play! Glad to hear that someone liked it.
Too bad Sampson HATED the bed at Auntie Em’s. š Glad she enjoyed it all the other nights!
