Well-visit entertainment | Mommy and Me Monday | 242nd ed
We have been very lucky when it comes to doctor’s visits this year. But, when we end up with a well-visit on the calendar, it never fails that there will be a sick visit shortly before or after it. Murphy’s Law or something. After last week’s sick visit with no diagnosis (I self-diagnosed her with Roseola once the fever broke and the rash started. The doctor confirmed), we were due for a well-child checkup for the littlest.
I aim to schedule the first appointments of the day as they tend to be more on schedule and don’t interfere with sleep/nap schedules. Of course, that means that I’m bringing a sister or two with me.
Fortunately, E is obsessed with seeing pictures of herself and/or her sister or taking pictures. So, we didn’t need any paper or books or toys this visit. Just the phone and the camera. We just need to work on coordinating all of our smiles at the same time!
E has even figured out and is perfection her selfie. She only took like 100 pictures of herself including about 3 different sets of burst images, too.

Thank goodness for the iPhone and forward camera. It was really all we needed to keep everybody happy at this well-child check-up!
It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information. **There really is only one requirement here, a picture of you and your baby or babies; your children, your “baby” (ie significant other) or even your fur babies. If your picture doesn’t feature you (meaning you must be in the picture), I will have to delete your link. It’s not fair to the others that follow the rules.*
Yall make the PRETTIEST KIDS! I love seeing their cute faces!
Thanks, Noelle! you are too sweet!
I love it when kids take/sneak selfies. We got our flu shots last week. Tara really liked the nose spray better than the shot. So we will do that from now on. The kids shot vaccine was on backorder.

I waivered, but decided to do the shot because it’s dead…and the mist is alive. I’m a meanie!
Adorable!
I hope the Roseola is better now, my kids have never had that before.
Lucky! Looking back, I think my girls have all had it. Basically, it’s a high fever, then it breaks and a rash!
I love the photo burst collage! I have many like that. And B’s tiny little smirk is SOAKING melting my heart!
Soaking hilarious, right?
Gosh they are cute! Based on what you told me I thin your self diagnoses seemed correct. Dr. Google to the rescue!
Sometimes I’m good at putting everything together!
Cute! My kids love playing and making selfies.
My littlest has started waving as soon as the phone comes out!
I do the same thing at the doctor’s office! And the kids also stay entertained by watching previous Vine videos of themselves. I wouldn’t bother on Vine at all but the kids love me making videos there! Hope everyone has a healthy winter! (Fingers crossed!!!)
That’s an awesome idea! I should start vining them and show them to the girls when we are desperate for a distraction!
