As much as I’d like to be in all the places at one time, I can’t be. But, it’s important to my girls’ safety that I know what it going on where if I can’t have physical eyes on them at all times. With the Levana Keera video monitor, I can see what is going on in one room while being in the other.
My oldest likes to be helpful with the youngest, those bookends like to stick together. So, I can keep an eye on my biggest big helping my littlest little get her pajamas on and ready for bed. And, if I hear B yell “stop” at her sister, I can use the Talk to Baby™ Two-way Communication to remind her to be gentle with her sister and kind. I like that they can help each other upstairs and I can be downstairs with N wrapping up her homework.
It displays in full color when the room is bright enough and switches to night vision when the room gets dark. So, I can see when the oldest two get sneaky and are moving around their room when then should be in bed.
You can see the smart LED indicator ring that changes color depending on what volume is coming from the room. It’s perfect for when you want to watch a movie, but you can still see if there is any noise coming from the room. If you put it in PEEP mode the batter has a 10-hour life.
In fact, I put one of the two cameras in each of the girls’ bedrooms to help remind them of the appropriate bedtime behavior and routine all from our bonus room. Not only does the monitor allow me some flexibility, but it allows the girls a lot more freedom and independence! Surprisingly, I think they do better when I’m not right there telling them every two seconds to brush their teeth!
Later, N went upstairs to read to her sister and I wanted to check on them. I couldn’t immediately see them in the room, but I used the smooth & silent pan/tilt/zoom camera to move around the room to find them. They had no idea I was moving the camera and now able to see them and N continued reading her book (check out the video below!). From downstairs, I was even able to turn on one of the 3 soothing lullabies to remind them that bedtime was coming.
The parent unit features a touch panel & icon-based menu to make it easy to maneuver around the screens.
Here is my quick unboxing and in-use demo, including finding N reading to B on video!
