A Wrinkle in Time Activity Sheets and Trailer
A little over a week ago, we were in a theater in Hollywood Studios and watched an extended trailer for A Wrinkle in Time. I asked our oldest two girls if they wanted to watch it. I’m in the process of reading the first book and our fifth grader had just finished reading it for school. Plus, the theater had really comfortable seats and air conditioning!
We were wowed with the imagery and the effects, even in just the preview. We all can’t wait to see it later this week.
Synopsis: From visionary director Ava DuVernay comes Disney’s “A Wrinkle in Time,” an epic adventure based on Madeleine L’Engle’s timeless classic which takes audiences across dimensions of time and space, examining the nature of darkness versus light and, ultimately, the triumph of love. Through one girl’s transformative journey led by three celestial guides, we discover that strength comes from embracing one’s individuality and that the best way to triumph over fear is to travel by one’s own light.
With several strong female lead characters, I’m excited for my girls to see A Wrinkle in Time. Not only does it have math and science, but it also emphasizes one’s own goodness and light.
I was sent A Wrinkle in Time Activity Kit to share with you all. You will find everything below (and more) included in the zip file here. Feel free to download and print these out for your use before or after seeing the movie.
There are SO MANY looks I can’t decide how to disneybound them. I want to color those pages myself!
And, so many fun lipsticks, too:)
I really want to see this film. I had hoped to go opening weekend but never made over there. This week is Spring Break so I am thinking I will be attending!
