Mother’s Day Weekend | Mommy and Me Monday | 796th ed
The oldest is officially done with school. I don’t even fully understand how seniors are done so much sooner, but here we are. And before being done, there were several partial days with AP testing.
One day, she biked with me while I did my run. Friday, she came to walk and talk with me. There must be photographic evidence.
N planned a pre-Mother’s Day morning. She cooked me bacon and brought me breakfast and we had a hard out the door time of 8am. Our first stop was a drink at the Starbucks!
The weather didn’t cooperate, but we still went and hiked the local mountain in the rain and cold. And, there were actually other people there so we got a picture!
Then it was off to the French bakery for a little post-hike treat (and some more rain).
Last was a little bonus stop to Marshall’s where a couple dresses and other goodies were purchased. This time it was for them. Hmmmm..maybe this was planned.
Since we did the hike Saturday morning, I did my run later Sunday morning. N offered to ride with me for my whole hour long run. It was another chilly and also humid morning.
These girls planned a fun outing and made it a very nice Mother’s Day.
