The sweeper my girls can use.

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

My girls still manage to spill food on the kitchen floor. Like every meal. And, when I was pregnant, sweeping was fine, but bending down to sweep into the dust pan? Not an option.

I was sent the Bissell Perfect Sweet Turbo Sweeper to test out and the timing was perfect. Out of the box, I just had to attach the handle, and let it charge overnight.

The next day, it was good to go. I made a point of leaving the kitchen floor dirty so I could test out the sweeper.

It did a super quick and easy job. It got all of the good up (and it says it’s good for things from cereal to lego toys).  I didn’t have to bend down to pick anything up and my floor was clean. The charge is supposed to last an hour, but I’m certain I’ve used it for longer than an hour and it’s still going strong. I was only slightly grossed out at everything that was on our floor.

And, it’s so light weight and easy to maneuver, that my three year old can help “sweep” the floor for us, too. And unlike a vacuum cleaner, they can push it and it stays on the floor.

The only issue I had is there are some little spinner brushes that are supposed to help get stuff out of corners. These little brushes didn’t always spin so I sometimes had to get at it just in the right angle to get things out of the corners.

Overall, it’s very easy to use, and super easy to empty the little catching compartment.

  1. I wonder how well it would work on animal hair. Since we have 4 sweet 4-legged babies there seems to be fur in every nook and cranny on the kitchen floor.

    1. Yeah, I bet it would work well for hair, too..it has brushes on the bottom, like a vacuum cleaner!

It was used while I was visiting and it works great. I was really impressed and both girls could use it easily. I was impressed when the girls used it no matter what angle they had the handle the base stayed flat on the floor. It picked up really well. Emily I think it would be great for your house. It’s very light weight and being cordless it’s easy to pull out.

  3. oh yeah, i could use one of these. my pregnant belly is making it a little harder to scoop up the trash these days!

    1. Yes, it’s definitely nice with the belly…but also nice post-belly and baby, too!

I might have to look into one of these. It would definitely be easier for my little guy to use than our huge rainbow vaccuum that he tries to operate.

My boys love to use the dustbuster. This would be great because they could both “help”!

  6. My son would totally love sing this to help me! 🙂
