Boozy Christmas Chocolate Truffles
When it comes to the holidays and Christmas, I all of a sudden want to make and bake all of the treats. Most of them are for teachers and friends like these yummy pretzel treats or turtle treats, so I keep them kid appropriate, but sometimes, it’s fun to make the treats adult versions, like these boozy Christmas chocolate truffles.

This recipe has so few ingredients and is very easy to make. That makes it a huge win in my book!
Boozy Christmas Chocolate Truffles Ingredients:
You will only need semi-sweet chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, spiced rum, and colored sprinkles. This really is easy and quick to put together.
Getting the Boozy Christmas Chocolate Truffles Made:
I think the trickiest part here is making sure your double boiler is set up properly. You will need to mix everything together (minus the sprinkles) until it’s all melted and homogenous. Yes, I’m a scientist at heart. I have to use those words. It means mixed together and looking the same.
Then, it’s off to the fridge for about 3 hours to cool and start to harden.
Next, you’ll take your small cookie scoop and scoop out a ball. You’ll roll that into a ball in your hands.
Finally, the ball goes into your cup of sprinkles and you roll it around until the chocolate truffle is covered.
Place them on parchment paper until they are good and ready to eat.
Try not to eat them all at one time.
Variations
What’s great about these chocolate truffles is that they are so versatile. You could use colorful sprinkles for a birthday celebration, or pick a favorite color for a friend. In place of the spiced rum, you could use white rum, peppermint vodka, or vanilla vodka.
If you want to make it a kid-friendly treat, you could swap the alcohol for rum, vanilla, or peppermint extract.
Will you enjoy them as is, or with a variation?
