The one with the -gans | Mommy and Me Monday | 398th ed

The last part of our Houston trip ended at my sister’s new house. This is actually the first time we’ve all stayed at her house. And, yes, if you are wondering, 7 girls 10 and under in one house leads to some crazy bedtimes, and nap times and dinner times and snack times. Well, suffice it to say, crazy times!

I think the highlight of the trip was finally meeting Baby Hagan. Everybody wanted to hold her and touch her. She had to be touched out. (What you can’t see here is like 5 other kids hovering).

Wait. I lied. You can see more kids. But, not Emily’s kids. Just all of mine hovering around or nearby. Playing with all of the new toys (they DESTROYED the play room the first day. I think they got out every single toy ever made).

I think I’ve still got this baby holding thing down. Hagan is definitely a snuggler.

Then I got to babysit her with my girls while Emily and her family (excluding Hagan) went to the dentist. I got to do wake up and bottle duty. I only had to do one wardrobe change, too, so we were both pretty impressed. I’m also impressed that I didn’t try to smuggle her home with me. But…I don’t have any of the baby stuff,

And, we remembered to take a cousin picture where everybody is looking…Emily got a better picture on her camera somewhere. But, I’m not going to harass her for it.

What we didn’t get (except those candid shots above) is a sister picture. Which is a damn shame because we actually got all dressed and put on makeup for a LipSense party and we looked nice for one small moment in our lives at the same time!

Now we are home and back to our wrangling and trying to get back to a routine. It might happen this month, but odds are, that it’s not ever going to feel like it.
