Drive-in kids message | Mommy and Me Monday| 539th ed

The older two girls have started practicing for cross country for the next school year. This means twice so far, we’ve met up with three other kids to learn how the team stretches and runs and practices. I’ve been running and stretching with them, too. 

Thursday was the second time we went. It was also the first children’s church drive in service for the kids. So, there was a bit of hustle and planning but we made both things work. 

All of us went to the running park. Mr. Serious and the youngest two did some short races and played with a frisbee while the oldest two and I did our run. It was hot, and humid, so we were so thankful for some rain.

We high-tailed it over to our church for the children’s service. They had some dancing and singing and microphones and speakers all set up for us to enjoy the service. 

We felt like we were cooking in the sun and the group all figured out a way to get us into the shade which helped a ton. 

It was nice to see so much of our church family, even if it was from the inside of our cars!
