Teacher Treats | Mommy and Me Monday | 566th ed

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

With one week of school left before our winter break, this weekend was the time to write out teacher cards and make them a little treat. (I had read and seen teachers were okay with treats this year…and it’s just a little something small, so we went for it.)

Rolos, pretzels and pecans are our go to treat and usually are quite the hit. We’ve been making them for years.

But, sometimes we like to do dipped pretzels, too. Both are super easy and quick and the kids appreciate that it’s something they can do very easily. (Wash your hands, kids!)

The Christmas cards were handwritten and a gift card was added and they were ready to deliver Monday morning.

With 17 teachers between 4 kids, we don’t do huge gifts, but we try to share our appreciation of all they do and send a little note of gratitude.

Are you doing teacher gifts this year?

What did you do this week?

GET IN THE PICTURE WITH YOUR KIDS! Who cares what you look like? Who cares how you appear? Who cares what you are wearing? JUST DO IT! Come share your picture on the Facebook thread or use #MommyAndMeMonday!

It’s time again for Mommy and Me Monday. Pop out from behind that camera and capture yourself in action with your kids. Check out the inaugural Mommy and Me Monday for more information.
