A Blur | Mommy and Me Monday | 639th ed
The weeks leading up to the end of the school year are always a blur. This year is no different, except we’ve added a third school to the mix. My to-do list and alarms are almost always going off.
I was still able to grab a minute or two to sit with B. She’s a bit of a snuggle-monster lately. And it’s hard to say no to that. (Why I can’t convince her to wear her glasses now that I have mine is beyond me!)
The oldest has already had her break come to and end and is back to running. But, before she was back to running, we squeezed in a bike ride before the world was even awake. Sure, dark o’clock it is. Hard to say no when she asks, right?
Saturday was back to the grind of weekend running. After our run we were all hungry and ready for lunch. It might have been the wafting smell of burgers while we ran.
We don’t usually grab fast food after a run, but we felt like going, so we did! It’s good when a “yes” surprises everybody.
I’m not even sure how many awards ceremonies and banquets we have coming up this week, but I know Friday will be here before we know it!
