Band concert watching | Mommy and Me Monday | 697th ed
N had her last middle school band camp this past week. She was in the top band and was bused around a college campus…and even got to eat in the dining hall. For the most part, it was a good experience. However, her phone was stolen and it was likely by one of the kids she was in band with which was hugely and widely disappointing.
The last day was the concert for families and friends to hear the results of their practice and learning all week.
The camp director told everybody to invite family and friends…and I think they did. We had to part a good bit away and it was standing room only. Or in our case, we found a comfy wall to lean on. And we were quite the trend setters as all of the people behind us got comfy, too.
I had to grab a patiently waiting for the concert to start picture! E was happy to oblige. B was not having it.
Later in the week, she redeemed herself and wanted all of the pictures.
Another summer week is flying past. Lots of running. Lots of working. And lots of playing.
