The Book of Luke | Mommy and Me Monday | 460th ed

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. I MAY EARN FROM QUALIFYING PURCHASES.

It’s December! November is SUCH A BLUR with all of the illness. We’re ready for a great month with our 15th anniversary, Christmas, and B’s birthday!

Our church challenged us to read Luke this month. It has 24 chapters which aligns with the first through Christmas. Reading the book would get us right in our hearts for the Christmas season and the true reason for it.

So, we are giving it a start. I’m not looking forward to the long list in chapter 3 with a family tree as long as my forearm. I think we’ll assign that reading of passage to N!

Mommy and Me Monday | Book of Luke

So far, we’ve seen some funny dance moves by Mr. Serious acting out what Zechariah must have done when he wasn’t able to speak but tried to explain to Elizabeth that he saw an angel and that she would be with child. So, it can only get better from here.

I’m thinking since we have the kids on board and told them what we will do, they will remind us every day to read our chapter. We might have to spend time playing catch-up, but we’ll get through it.

Have you ever done the Luke Book challenge before and leading up to Christmas? Were you able to finish it and keep up with your reading?

What did you do this week?
