First Day of School, Time Trial and College Move-In | Mommy and Me Monday | 809th ed
This week was an emotional doozy for sure!
The oldest was at home while everybody else started school! But, we still got a family first day of school picture!
Then, we wrapped up the week with the high school and middle school time trial. It was weird that the oldest didn’t run, but she turned on her cheerleader personality. N, E and B all had great runs and we are excited to see where this season goes.
Before we knew it, it was time to drive this little girl to college. Yeah, it was 13 years to the day that she did her kindergarten bus ride-along to moving into college. When they say don’t blink, they mean it!
We took too separate cars and had everything unloaded and mostly unpacked in 1.5 hours. It was special that she got to move in early for her team so we didn’t have to deal with the congestion in the stairwells and hallways.
We got things mostly set up, mostly unpacked, grabbed some pictures and then headed out to grab some lunch and a few missing things at the store.
Then, we unloaded those goodies and said our last goodbyes for a few weeks.
So yeah, it’s been a week! But, we will all adjust and figure it out, and be really thankful for text messages, video calls and messenger kids messages for the younger sisters!
